Published Short Story: “Tom, My Native American Friend”
A short story published on Wattatpad, a website where writers can publish their personal work and share it among other writers. This specific story was written by Sernus Turretus, which is my pen name- it ranked 27 out of a total of 655 stories focusing in addiction, published on Wattappad. It is a personal narrative about a friend in real life – although, I use Tom as the name for this story- who lives with an addiction to alcohol and the negative impact it carries within his life.
Published Short Story: “The Changed Warrior and Forest Spirit”
A short story consisted of approximately 3,000 word s published on Wattapad.com focusing on a fictional genre of fantasy. A troubled man traveling through a journey trying to reach a mountain runs into a mythical being; The man through a dialogue with the being expresses a past life of violence and desiring a new beginning is faced in with magic that takes him within a dimension of self reflection and a test of true desire. The end being self discovering himself and leaving a past of mental torment and heartbreak. It ranked 721 out of more than 2,200 stories published on wattapad focused on teaching.
